Changing plans
Move up to unlock features, move down if you don’t need them.
Walkthrough
- 1Open Plan & billing → Change plan.
- 2Pick the new tier. We show a prorated preview: what we’ll charge now (if upgrading) or credit forward (if downgrading).
- 3Confirm. The change applies immediately — locked features unlock or lock, and the new price takes effect on your next renewal.
What proration means
- Upgrade — we charge the difference between your remaining-cycle credit on the old plan and the new plan’s cost. Half a month left on Starter ($8.50 unused) and you move to Premium? We charge $14.50 today.
- Downgrade — the unused portion of your old plan credits forward as a discount on your next bill instead of triggering a refund.
- All of this happens in Stripe; the totals shown in the dashboard come straight from Stripe’s preview API.
When a feature is gated by plan
If you’re on Starter and try to use a Pro-only field, the save silently skips that field instead of failing — your other edits still go through. Pages that need a higher plan (Inbox, Bookings, etc.) show a clear upgrade card linking back to the plan picker.
Owner-only
Only the owner of the business sees Plan & billing. Collaborators (full or edit) are bounced off the page.
