Confirming bookings

The one-click happy path.

Where to confirm

Open Inbox or Calendar — they’re two views on the same data. Pending bookings appear with a dashed ribbon in Calendar and a Pending tag in the Inbox list.

What Confirm does

  1. 1Click into the booking thread.
  2. 2Review date, time, party size, service, and message.
  3. 3Click Confirm.
  4. 4We flip the booking to confirmed and email the customer a confirmation.
  5. 5The booking ribbon in Calendar turns solid; the thread moves to the Confirmed list.
Confirm is idempotent — clicking it twice doesn’t send a second email. We stamp confirmed_email_sent_at the first time and skip on the second.

What the customer gets

A branded confirmation email naming your business, the time, the party size or service, and any owner note you typed. Reply-To threads back into the Premium inbox.
