Turning a booking into an invoice
One-click handoff from Inbox to Invoices, with everything pre-filled.
How it works
- 1Open the booking thread in the Inbox.
- 2Click Create invoice.
- 3We jump you to /dashboard/invoices with name, email, item description, and amount pre-filled from the booking.
- 4Adjust anything you need — quantity, discount, payment toggle.
- 5Click Send. The customer gets the invoice email; the thread back in Inbox now links to that invoice for reference.
What gets pre-filled
- Recipient name and email — from the booking submission.
- Item description — the service the customer picked, or the first line of their message.
- Amount — the total you and the customer agreed on (set on the booking row).
- Booking reference — so the customer’s invoice email mentions which appointment it’s for.
Plan
Invoicing requires Premium. The Stripe in-line Pay-now button on the invoice additionally requires Stripe Connect — see the Stripe Connect topic.
