Payouts and fees
When the money actually hits your bank, and what gets taken on the way.
Payout cadence
- First payout — 7-10 days while Stripe verifies your account. This is normal; later payouts are faster.
- Standard schedule (US) — rolling 2-day payouts. Money received on Monday pays out Wednesday.
- Other countries — Stripe’s default ranges from daily to weekly depending on local rules.
- Customise it — open your Stripe dashboard and change the schedule there. Seenly mirrors whatever you pick.
Fee math
Two fees come out of every successful charge — Stripe’s processing fee (about 2.9% + 30¢ in the US) and Seenly’s small platform fee (shown when you confirm the charge). Refunds reverse the platform fee; Stripe’s processing fee is non-refundable on their side, so a fully refunded charge still costs you the 30¢ fixed fee.
Where to see balance and history
- Inside Seenly — Payments page shows totals received / refunded / net for the last 30 days, plus every individual charge in the ledger.
- Stripe dashboard — click “Open in Stripe” from the Payments page for the full payout history, scheduled payouts, and tax exports.
